Trish Kelly, Managing Director
Trish leads Valley Vision's Food and Ag Impact Area to strengthen the regional food system. She helped develop the region's Food System Action Plan in 2015 in partnership with the Sacramento Region Community Foundation and she is also heading up the 2021 Update of the Action Plan. She has guided numerous food and ag projects for Valley Vision including in workforce development and career pathways, the Yolo County AgTech Broadband Pilot, the School Wellness Project for Sacramento City Unified School District, We are Farm to Fork, and the federally designated program to support the food and ag manufacturing ecosystem. Trish helps manage the Greater Sacramento Region Prosperity Strategy food and ag initiatives, working with broad network of partners including nonprofits, jurisdictions educational institutions and state and federal agencies.She also was project manager for the seminal SACOG Food Hub study and is currently serving as a consultant to SACOG on its sustainable ag lands conservation project. She is a founding board member of AgStart, an agtech incubator in Woodland, Co-Chair of the Sacramento Metro Chamber's Food and Ag Committee, and a member of the Ag Innovation Council, of the Greater Sacramento Economic Council.
