Kristen Elliott, RDN, LD, Nutrition Specialist, Atlanta Community Food Bank
Kristen is a registered dietitian and Nutrition Specialist at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. In this position she manages educational outreach, resource development and dietetic interns and facilitates nutrition and culinary classes (currently virtual). She also coordinates the Cultural Conversations monthly meeting of Food Banks across the network. Kristen focuses her work in trauma informed, client-centered service and brings her lived experience in rural food insecurity to the table as she serves partners and community members. Outside of community work, Kristen is a Capella Fellow working on her MPH and in her free time enjoys tending her MANY houseplants, experimenting in the kitchen, and enjoying her husband and cats’ company.
