System Director, Community and Homeless Health, CommonSpirit Health


Ashley Brand is System Director, Community and Homeless Health for CommonSpirit Health, addressing housing insecurities, homelessness and food systems nationally. Priorities include the California homeless health initiative concentrating on transforming health and communities by strengthening the continuum of care for patients experiencing housing insecurities and homelessness through innovation, partnership and lasting impact. Ashley also leads the development of a national strategy to address food systems. She has over 13 years of experience developing and implementing programs targeting underserved populations in Northern and Southern California and East Africa. Prior to CommonSpirit Health, she oversaw various programs, grant development and implementation, as well as community relations, with a focus on public and nonprofit safety net agencies. Ashley received a Masters in Public Health from Drexel University and a Masters in Health Care Ethics from Duquesne University.
